Our Journey...

In November 2016 we drove around in Marloth Park, looking at the for sale boards and talking about what we would want in a house. Being a family of four, my husband me and our two daughters we started daydreaming about an open plan house with a pool, every additional would be a bonus.

At that time we had contacted a few agents but nothing came up.  About a week later my husband got a call that there is a new listing.  As it would be I could not take off from work to go with him to have a look at the house.  Well, he got home and just said we bought a house, i did not know if i should be happy or angry, I haven't even seen the place and he was making offers.  But i trust him and just prayed that this was the one.

By February 2017 every done dusted we bought our first house.  We loved it and still do, believe me trusting my husband was one of the best things ever although i did have my doubt.

The hard work started, we had to change a few things to fit in with us, and as you know you want to make is your own.  Bit by bit we started redecorating the inside of the house, new bedding curtains, pots, pans, knifes, forks, plates ext.  Weekend after weekend we figured it out.  With inside done it was time to start the outside, new wooden rails, new front shade roof, new braai area and a bar, painting the splash pool and cleaning the front yard.

All our friends jumped in to help, we could never ever thank them enough for what they did, for all there help in making this dream a reality.  For every sweat drop, every beer, every braai, and every plate of food that was made while we were busy working, no words can ever explain how much it means to us.

Five years later we have our dream home which we are so fortunate to share with other  but most of all we have all the memories of each and every friend and family member who helped us to get where we are today.
